Innovise and Ausped merge under Innovise banner (01/01/07)
Innovise and Ausped are to merge under the Innovise branding banner from the start of 2007, following the successful integration of the businesses during 2006.
Innovise, Ausped, FM Workshop and TimeGate Group were brought together by acquisition within the Contemporary Enterprises plc group of companies during 2006. The trading names were rationalised in early 2006 with Innovise focused on commercial markets and Ausped dedicated to healthcare. This branding division will cease from 2007 with the entire operation trading as Innovise.
The key healthcare products supplied by Ausped, namely Portertrac (Portering Management Software) and Audittrac (Quality Monitoring for cleaning and infection control) will be sold and marketed as Innovise products going forward.
Mike Taylor, CEO, explains more: "During 2006 we completed the full integration of all acquired operations. Sales, support, implementation, finance and to some extent development is now fully merged. As a result, the division of Innovise and Ausped Healthcare is increasingly irrelevant to us and our customers. Therefore from January 2007 we will trade as Innovise. Our staff and customers have shown great enthusiasm for the enlarged group during 2006 and we think the Innovise name is the perfect banner for us to adopt for the future."
