Servicetrac Patrol - online tour of duty
Servicetrac Patrol is a Tour of Duty or Guard Tour facility, combining both PDA, ActiveGuard, Nokia and PES technology. The devices are used to record tours or patrols and capture proof of attendance. We are able to offer customers the unique PES sensor and ActiveGuard wand, as well as Nokia and PDA device integration. Data can be sent back to Servicetrac in real time using GPRS or in batch using a simple upload facility.
Our Patrol tour of duty solution provides a cost effective and 100% accurate method for tracking duties performed by your staff. A series of tags are used as markers around a site and staff use either a PDA, ActiveGuard or PES sensor to record T&A during a tour. Hence, as a staff member reaches a particular location, the PDA/AG/Nokia/PES is used to record the data and time at which the tag was activated. Our solution works with a number of location tag types including i-button, RFID and barcodes.
Using PDAs or our i-button Incident Pads, your staff can also record incidents that take place while they carry out a tour of duty. For instance, an officer conducting a Guard Patrol may come across an open window. This incident and any subsequent action can be reported using the PDA incident form or i-button incident pad. The data recorded is then available for reporting and service analysis.
Servicetrac Patrol's tour of duty solution has three main device options to enable choice across a range of contracts or staff members:
- PDA - the PDA solution is ideal for more complex patrols and contracts in which detailed incident reporting and analysis is required. The PDA can also provide real time data. PDA's can be provided in rugged casings to protect against misuse. However, they can be vulnerable to damage and require some level of staff training and familiarisation.
- ActiveGuard - the wand is a ruggedized device with real-time connectivity using a SIM card within the unit. It is also capable of acting as a radio/telephone and health and safety device, potentially replacing several units with one.
- PES - the PES sensor is a robust unit which is ideal for use wherever there is a high risk of damage or misuse. The sensor is unique in its Anti-Vandal technology in addition to its lengthy battery life and high capacity.
- Nokia - Using Nokia NFC Technology, Servicetrac Patrol is able to offer ofer the discerning guarding client a unique proposition of being able to mix and match Nokia NFC benefits with the other best of breed hardware available.
The key business benefits are:
-
Improved staff productivity - in the field experience shows that staff making use of the tour of duty monitoring system usually operate more productively during the working day. The fact that performance is being monitored and measured coupled with the empowerment of leading edge tools provides a significant incentive for staff to perform their duties efficiently and effectively.
-
Consistent service delivery - the use of technology to monitor and manage duties enables a consistent performance standard to be applied across a group of staff carrying out a specific set of duties. Servicetrac Patrol enables repeated patrols to be configured and a set of checks and assessments to be carried out by each staff member fulfilling that duty.
-
Actionable information - Servicetrac Patrol provides a rich array of actionable management information. Unlike paper based duty tracking systems, information within Innovise's security management system is accessible (only requiring internet access) and can be manipulated quickly and easily to enable improved management decisions. Moreover, unlike alternative systems, Servicetrac Patrol combines standardised responses with rich audio and visual media data to maximise the information available to decision makers.*
